I'm probably gonna get burnt for this question - but I genuinely don't know the answer so here goes !!!
I notice that a lot of you guys, when looking for getting real quality out of the Adobe packages cut in Premiere then export to After Effects when colour correcting etc. And I've heard a lot of talk about that 'After Effects' sparkle.
Why do you do this? Why does it give you a better result, and is there a better alernative to the workflow i'm currently using....
Sync sound from H4n and image from 5d with DualEyes
Import 5d files into premiere CS5 on a dslr settings timeline
Edit in Premiere CS5, add titles
Colour correct in Magic Bullet Colorista II & After Effects
Export from there
(I never touch After Effects - though if it will improve overall quality, i'd be keen to learn more !!!)
I'm looking to be enlightened, feel free to murder a complete but very keen beginner to editing !!!
