Ok i havnt bought my setup but this is what i intend it to be:
-Canon 5D mk2
-Sigma 8-16mm F/4.5-5.6
I will be shooting houses; inside and out.
I need to film whether its sunny or cloudy, so i am thinking the use of a filter for when its cloudy/overcast is appropriate, but i have heard that you shouldnt use certain types of filters on wide angle lenses.
Things i would like advice and feedback on:
-The lens; Is Sigma any good? Is this an alright wide angle lens
-What filters can/should i use with a wide angle lens, for cloudy/overcast days? And also should i use screw-in type filters, or filter holders, is this the done thing seeing as you are filming and not taking still images?? Polarising filters have to be turned so can they be used when filming??
-Does this setup seem alright to you?? (Wierd question but i have no experience of lenses and HDDSLR, and just someone saying this setup seems alright would be great)
Thanks in advanced.
