Hello there! I shot an interview w/ my 5d mk iii and I used a sony lavaliere mic ECM-44B in mode camera sound manual. I didnít use any mixer or deviser between the camera and the mic just the cable. Now when Iím playing the footage from my sandisk card in my MacBook Pro the volume sound is low but when I connect my macbook to my external speakers it sounds perfect. So I edited my footage in FCP X and my computer was hooked all the time to my external speakers and everything was fine so when I was done I exported my little movie to my email and for my surprise the person voice was very low (soft) in relationship to the music in the background. So can anybody help me and tell me what to do please? I did everything, all my levels where right and then when I when back to my project in FCP X and I unplug my external speakers yes the voice of the person was low but the audio meters and everything was showing right. I donít understand rely!
I run a few tests and the same mic with a Shure mix and without, a big difference, the sound through the mixer is more clear and clean. My question is why if the audio meter in the camera and in FCP X is showing fine all the levels are good w/ & w/out the mixer why I have this problem, what should I do to fix what is already shot w/out the mixer? I canít reshoot the interview.(by the way sorry for my English).
