Yesterday we took a wedding couple for a outdoor video shooting, we used Canon 5D Mark II gear with our gear settings updated to "Technicolor Cinestyle Profile" and the video mode to NTSC 30p and a rented CANON EF 24mm F/1.4L II USM wide angle Lens. (usually we shoot with standard picture profile and PAL 24p never had this problem)
At the end of day when we viewed the recorded videos we were shocked, most of the video were pixelated (some pixles/information missing especially on the darker areas of the video). We really do not have any idea what is the cause for this problem and how this can be corrected in Software?
I would really appreciate if someone here could share his expertise on this.
P.s. We shot the video NTSC 30p, I am currently writing from Europe where PAL is the standard. We viewed all our videos on Computer Monitor with the refresh frequency set to 50 Hz (also tried with 60 Hz).
