I've got a couple of issues that I'm not sure of: I've been shooting footage (DSLR 1080/25p) that I need rendered for broadcast.
I've been editing it in a 1080p sequence (PPro 6.0.1) and it's going to be used for web and apparently broadcasting too. (Music video for a musician).
The thing is - in Belgium the TV broadcasters have agreed on a specific file format and they will only accept that. (D-Mat - read more here: http://www.abma-bvam.be/nl/dmat-en.cfm)
I need to send my file to a selected company that can do the encoding for me. They only accept SD, PAL 16:9 or 4:3 files that are interlaced. My file is progressive. When I export it with interlacing - the video is completely useless because of the lines showing very clearly. (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/c ... (car_wheel).jpg)
Is it normal to see these lines or am I doing something wrong?
