This one was my first attempt to work with the 5D in an indie-professional environment. And it worked great.
It took a lot of discipline to get it done, we were a 4 man crew and shot ISO 100 with just 2 2000W Fresnels and a Divalight. Of course we could also use the Par's present in that theatre room.
I'm quite happy with the results, nothing to shed tears about, except the ugly noise on the book the 5D produced, which can't be made out on Vimeo, as far as I can tell. Exposure locking starts to get a habit. I place my iPhone in front of the cam and the cam assistant presses expo lock. Takes 3 seconds. I like shooting with this camera.
